Kobushi Cup 2027: The Miami Classic is set for February 27
The 35th edition of the Kobushi Cup, The Miami Classic, takes place on Saturday, February 27, 2027 at Hialeah Gardens High School, 11700 Hialeah Gardens Blvd. Doors open at 8:00 AM for competitors and spectators.
Individual Kata and Kumite for all ages and ranks, plus Kobudo. Medals and diplomas are awarded in every division. Registration is online only at Colosseum Data; there is no on-site registration.
The 2027 edition is sponsored by Olmedo Printing Corp, Arawaza USA and CNG Studios.

The Kobushi Cup is proud to be affiliated with the Japan Karate-Do Shito-Ryu Keishin Kyokai, one of the leading Shito-Ryu organizations in the world.
On 25 October 2025 tournament director Carlos Quintero was installed as the first Kyoshi of Karate-Do Shito-Ryu Keishin Kyokai.
